Job Summary


We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts and hospitality, with a flair for creativity and a commitment to excellence in food preparation and production. As a Chef, you will play a vital role in managing kitchen operations, ensuring food safety standards are met, and leading a team of kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

Duties



Oversee all aspects of food preparation and production in the kitchen. Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting customer preferences. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene in the kitchen. Manage kitchen staff, providing training, guidance, and support to foster teamwork and efficiency. Monitor inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Assist in the planning and execution of special events or catering services as required. Maintain equipment and kitchen facilities, ensuring they are clean and in good working order.

Qualifications



Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen management practices. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Creative flair for menu development and food presentation. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in food preparation and production processes. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards. A passion for cooking and an eagerness to learn new techniques and cuisines.
