Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food production and preparation, with a keen understanding of food safety standards. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating exceptional dishes that delight our guests while supervising kitchen staff and ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

responsibilities:

Prepare, marinate, and cook a variety of tandoori dishes, including kebabs, breads, and main courses. Monitor and maintain the temperature and cleanliness of tandoori ovens. Ensure that all food is prepared to high quality and consistency standards. Collaborate with the head chef and other kitchen staff to maintain seamless kitchen operations. Manage food storage and handling practices to prevent contamination. Experiment with and recommend new menu items in line with customer preferences and seasonal availability.

Key Skills:

Expertise in Tandoori Techniques:

Skilled in the use of clay ovens, traditional marination, and spice blends.

Efficiency in High-Volume Cooking:

Ability to work quickly while maintaining high quality during peak times.

Knowledge of Indian Cuisine:

Deep understanding of flavors, spices, and traditional Indian cooking methods.

Team Collaboration:

Work seamlessly with other chefs and kitchen staff to ensure timely service.

Precision and Presentation:

Attention to the visual appeal and presentation of each dish.
