Role Overview:

As a Tearoom Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding customer service while supporting the smooth running of the tearoom. This is a varied role that requires flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to learn new skills. You will be involved in food preparation, coffee making, and ensuring high standards of food safety, all while creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve hot and cold food to a high standard Make and serve barista-style coffees, teas, and other beverages Maintain excellent food safety and hygiene practices Assist with kitchen duties including cleaning, stock rotation, and prep work Provide friendly and efficient customer service front of house Support with events, specials, and seasonal menus where required Work flexibly across different areas of the tearoom depending on business needs
About You:

Flexible and versatile, able to adapt to different tasks and situations Eager to learn new skills and grow within the role Previous experience in a food service, cafe, or tearoom environment is desirable Strong skills in food preparation, food safety, and coffee making Excellent communication and teamwork skills A positive attitude with a genuine passion for hospitality

Pay: 8.00-12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 24 per week
