Job description
Scalby Academy are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant Level 2 to join our academy in February 2026 on a temporary, part time basis.

Your new role
As a Teaching Assistant Level 2, you will work under the instruction/guidance of teaching/senior staff to undertake work/care/support programmes to enable access to learning for pupils and assist the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom. You may carry out work in the classroom or outside the main teaching area.
Salary: Grade D Points 6 to 8 (25,989.00 to 26,824.00 Full Time Equivalent) subject to pro rata. The minimum actual pro rata salary per annum for this job starts at 12,136.57.
Hours: 20 hours per week / Term Time only plus 5 days (39 weeks)
