You will be part of a senior team and support the Registered Manager in mentoring and managing the staff team that provides outstanding quality care to adults 18+, with Learning Disabilities, Autism and physical disabilities.
The ability to communicate effectively--and to use a range of communication tools and systems, is essential.
Our dedicated staff team supports individuals in learning and developing their independence skills. This includes activities such as shopping, cleaning their rooms, personal care, accessing the community, budgeting, administering medication, and most importantly, having fun.
We actively encourage staff to bring their humour, creativity, and sense of fun to everyday interactions, enriching the lives of the people we support and making each day meaningful.
Where will you work:
We provide support to people in the community through outreach support across Central Bedfordshire - Leighton Buzzard, Dunstable, Buckinghamshire - Woburn Sands and Cublington and Luton

Team Leader role and responsibilities:
Experience is essential, but the right values and mindset matter just as much.
We support individuals with a variety of needs, and our approach is always person-centred and tailored. This may involve supporting people with learning disabilities, medical conditions, or physical disabilities--each requiring thoughtful monitoring, accurate recording, and an understanding of their unique circumstances.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are vital, ensuring that every interaction and every note contributes to safe, respectful, and high-quality support.
You will assist the senior management in meeting the service KPI's in quality assurance, Health and safety, budgets and compliance.
Assist to facilitate and support the people we support the people we support to access their local community
Identify training needs of staff and coordinate training initiatives in consultation with the Registered Manager
Work with the people we support to develop new ideas and methods regarding the quality of service delivery
Keep up to date with changes by participating in training sessions and workshops
Assist the management with coordination, supervision and monitoring of staff work and practices
Coordinate the arrangements of individuals appointments
Assist management to organise regular monthly meetings
Order and administer medication when required
Support individuals to engage in meaningful opportunities and activities
Get involved in the community, support during leisure and social activities and celebrate special occasions
Drive individuals to their day services or community activities
Working with families and professionals and building relationships.
Essential requirements:
Experience within the care sector with a vocational qualification in health and social care.
Holding a full driving license to the house vehicles, drive a car, access to your own vehicle to enable you to commute to work.
Supporting people to access the community.

Willingness to learn
Working within a rota to provide support across the 24 hours of support we provide.
Desirable Experience:
Level 4 in health and social care, Team leader equivalent qualifications
Previous experience of managing people/team rotas.
