Job Role: Team Leader (Residential Children's Home)



Location: Bilston, Wolverhampton



Pay: 27,000- 34,600



Salary: Up to 34,200.00 with sleep ins on average 11 per month. D.O.E. dependant on experience.


Hours:

Average 40 hours per week (2 on, 4 off day rota)

Refer a friend scheme (paid on completion of their probation)

Hold a Diploma Level 3 Residential Childcare


Our BRAND NEW home in Bilston, Wolverhampton is within the local community supporting up to 4 young people with Learning Disabilities. This role is more than just a job--it's an opportunity to lead, mentor, and inspire while continuing to make a profound impact on the lives of children and young people. We are looking to recruit an experienced Children's Team Leader, in line with the Children's home regulations we will only consider applicants who have experience within a Residential Childcare setting and essential that you hold the Diploma Level 3 in Residential Childcare

Job Summary:



As a

Team Leader

, you will provide:

Leadership to the team always acting as a positive role model Manage rotas on a daily basis, Carry out and complete daily shift planning and handover Provide effective supervision of your team in line with the Care Regulations Provide on call cover as arranged by the Home Manager. You will motivate, support and mentor the staff. You will carry out an essential and varied role to provide the individual support required by the children and young people in our care, complete relevant paperwork, and where appropriate administer medication. You will create positive relationships with the children & young people, meeting their needs and always safeguarding them
