Job Role: Team Leader (Residential Children's Home)
Location: Bilston, Wolverhampton
Salary: Up to 35,000.00 + sleep ins

Average 40 hours per week (2 on, 4 off day rota)
Our BRAND NEW home in Bilston, Wolverhampton is within the local community supporting up to 4 young people with Learning Disabilities. This role is more than just a job--it's an opportunity to lead, mentor, and inspire while continuing to make a profound impact on the lives of children and young people. We are looking to recruit an experienced Children's Team Leader, in line with the Children's home regulations we will only consider applicants who have experience within a Residential Childcare setting and essential that you hold the Diploma Level 3 in Residential Childcare

Job Summary:
The main duties of this role include and not limited to:
Ensuring shifts are planned with Residential Support Workers,* To ensure that all risks are safely managed in line with the company policies and procedures ?* To communicate effectively with the team regarding the plans for the day* To provide reports and documentation that reflects the progress of the young person using our paperless systems and tools* To review the young people's care plans and other associated documentation* To undertake an in-depth quality and bespoke training package* To attend staff meetings and be proactive in developing and improving the service model* To act as an advocate for the young person whilst using a positive parenting model* To work with young people using positive support strategies including de-escalation tools and techniques using in-house training*
