Job Overview:



We are looking for a passionate, tech-savvy

Full-Time Tech Coach

to join our growing team. You'll be responsible for delivering a range of fun and interactive tech-based activities to children during after-school programs, holiday camps, and special events.

Whether you're introducing kids to coding through Scratch, running a LEGO robotics challenge, or leading a digital creativity session, you'll be inspiring the next generation of young innovators. Lesson plans and resources are

fully provided

-- your job is to bring them to life in an engaging and accessible way!

This is a hands-on, creative role ideal for someone who loves technology, working with children, and bringing ideas to life.

Key Responsibilities:



Deliver a variety of

tech-themed sessions

including: Block-based coding (e.g. Scratch, Blockly) Robotics (LEGO Mindstorms, Sphero, etc.) Digital creativity challenges (basic animation, game design, or tech quizzes) Adapt activities to suit different age groups and ability levels (ages 4-14). Build positive relationships with children, school staff, and parents. Set up and maintain all tech equipment and materials. Create a safe, inclusive, and high-energy learning environment. Support holiday camps and themed STEM days across multiple venues. Help grow and promote our tech offering as part of a broader coaching team.

Essential Criteria:



Minimum of 1 year working with children in an educational or extracurricular setting. A strong interest in technology, coding, or digital media. Comfortable explaining tech concepts in a

child-friendly, engaging way

. Confident in group settings, with excellent communication skills. Valid

driving licence

and

access to own transport

(essential for travel between sites). Willingness to complete (or hold) an

Enhanced Access NI Check

. A proactive, creative, and enthusiastic attitude to inspiring young learners.

Desirable:



Experience with child-friendly coding platforms such as Scratch or LEGO robotics. Background in ICT, digital design, or computing education. Comfortable supporting or stepping into other activity areas (e.g. arts, games, or sports) during holiday periods.

Additional Information:



Due to the nature of this role, an

Enhanced Access NI Disclosure

Competitive, based on experience (18,000-26,000 per year)

Schedule:

Weekdays during school hours, with additional hours during school holidays

Tech-related qualification or A-Level (preferred)
