We are currently looking for an Technical Lead Electrical Contracts to join a team in Bristol.

The successful Candidate will be supporting the delivery of nuclear power plant project through the following activities:

  • Main responsibilities:
  • Leading the resolution on entry point of concerning all technical topics linked to the contract including support functionality.
  • Ensuring the technical management of the supplier, and support the Client in its contractual relationship with the supplier during the contract execution phase (in particular with regard to compliance with the schedule, costs, and scope of supply and studies).
  • Reviewing of supplier documents according to technical referential in time, respecting the contractual deadlines, with good level of quality and coordinating the documentary review of the various contributors..
  • Producing comment sheets via dedicated tool to the supplier and perform discussion with supplier.
  • Managing modifications on the contracts, to inform supplier via CTS send to the Client via dedicated tools.
  • Ensuring timely resolution of all modifications, technical issues, or non-conformities arising from site activities and managing risks, opportunities, open points, and modifications of its contract with the Client.
  • Producing the surveillance plan and reports, as well as conducting follow-up on the manufacturing activity for site in interface with other stakeholders.
  • Managing interfaces with all disciplines involved in the contract (cabling, connecting, piping, layout, I&C, etc.).
  • Supporting the pacification of activities and ensuring adherence to all Delivery To Site dates for equipment.
  • Contributing on topics around good practises, innovation, improvement of processes, and quality.
  • Activities listed above, are managed through different meetings:
  • Weekly technical meeting to discuss about technical issues.
  • Manufacturing meeting to follow the Delivery To Site for equipment.
  • Monthly meeting to have an overview concerning all parts (technical, planning, review, risks, \xe2\x80\xa6) for the contract.
  • Meeting with site to be informed of technical issue.
Qualifications

Essential:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s / Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent qualification).
  • 5 or more years of experience in specification, design, procurement and installation of electrical components.
  • Knowledge of RCC-E code.
  • Knowledge of 2D and 3D design software.
  • Experience working in a multicultural environment.
  • Experience in the management of transverse technical and contractual topics.
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritise, to manage numerous interfaces, to question and understand the imperatives of other downstream disciplines.
  • Ability to meet commitments and deadlines.
  • English Language \xe2\x80\x93 proficient user.
Desirable:
  • Knowledge of the EPR and associated studies/doctrine.
  • Experience gained in a nuclear sector.
  • Ability to communicate in French.
