We are a specialist glazing company, primarily undertaking glass and glazing repairs at height and on structural and commercial applications.
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Technical Sales Assistant to support our central sales team, primarily in estimating, compilating and submission of specialist technical quotes, for which full training will be provided. The successful candidate will also have a central role within our sales team and manage our social media offering.

Working centrally from our offices between Newmarket and Cambridge as part of a small, dedicated sales and operations team, the ideal candidate will have excellent written English and communication skills, good maths and a practical and technical mindset, with a passion to progress long-term within a specialist industry.
Advanced MS XL and Word skills are essential, while full training will be provided in all required, industry-specific systems and processes. Experience with corporate social media is preferred but not essential.
Duties
Compile bespoke written quotations in company format, including detailed descriptions of works and specification - full training will be provided.
Compile detailed XL estimates and calculate pricing of individual projects, including sourcing of standard and specialist materials and labour - full training will be provided.
Liaise with clients during the sales process and chase historic quotations.
Respond to new sales enquiries promptly, record and update these centrally.
Build and maintain customer relationships.
Update and monitor social media accounts in liaison with our marketing provider.
Maintain technical and project documentation project sales updates.
Manage time and tasks and meet project deadlines.
General administrative and office duties.
Local procurement and sundry logistics as required.
Attend client meetings and surveys alongside senior managers from time to time.
Assist Operations team centrally from time-to-time.
Attend site operations as an onlooker from time to time to gain experience.
Requirements
Excellent written English skills essential.
Excellent verbal communications skills essential.
Familiarity with corporate social media an advantage.
Must have full, clean driving licence.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel and Power Point.
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
