To lead on all aspects of sales and business development for the company's OEM products and services, generating leads, securing orders, and raising the profile of the business across target markets. As the sales role in the company, this postholder will also play a key part in customer engagement, outreach strategy, and social selling.
Lead Generation
Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities and generate new business opportunities through research, networking, presentations, events and outreach
Prospecting
Conduct prospecting activities, including cold calling, emailing, and social media outreach and engagement, to create qualified leads
Sales Cycle Management
Convert leads into sales by managing the full sales cycle from initial contact to closing the deal
Customer Development
Build and retain a recurring customer base through proactive and ongoing relationship management and regular order generation
Appointment Setting
Arrange and deliver meetings, product presentations & demonstrations and follow-ups with potential and existing customers
Sales Strategy & Outreach
Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure sales approaches align with company targets and operational capabilities, while taking the lead on developing outreach strategies, messaging, and content to engage new and existing customers
CRM Management
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads, opportunities, interactions, and outcomes using the company CRM (HubSpot or similar)
Reporting
Provide regular reports and status updates to the Operations Director on lead generation, conversion rates, sales activity, and KPI's
Social Selling
Support brand visibility and sales efforts by creating and participating in promotional content, including on-camera video for social media
Onboarding
Develop a strong understanding of the company's products, services, and customer base within the first 3 months and identify the sales pipeline at least one year ahead.
Compliance
Uphold GDPR and data protection standards in all client engagement and CRM usage
Travel
Attend meetings, exhibitions and events across Northern Ireland and outside of NI.
Essential Requirements
Experience
Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a B2B sales or business development role
Sales Skills
Demonstrable success in lead generation, managing the full sales cycle, and meeting and/or exceeding sales targets
CRM Proficiency
Experienced in using HubSpot or similar CRM systems for managing contacts, pipelines and reporting
Communication
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with confidence in presenting and engaging with varied audiences
Digital Literacy
Strong digital skills, including the use of email marketing tools, LinkedIn and a willingness to appear on camera for promotional content
Self-Management
Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to work independently in a standalone role
Driving Licence
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use
Security Clearance
Willing to undergo any necessary security vetting or background checks required by clients or prospective clients in line with contractual obligations
Right to Work
Must have the right to work in the UK
Desirable Requirements
Sector Knowledge
Familiarity with tech, SaaS, or OEM product sales environments, good technical knowledge of company products
Marketing Collaboration
Experience working alongside marketing teams or contributing to sales campaign content
Commercial Awareness
Confident with sales data, pricing discussions, and interpreting commercial figures

Demonstrates ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to evolving products or services
