Job Description

Gecko is looking for a technically proficient individual who is eager to contribute in a role that blends technical pre-sales responsibilities with post-sales support. You will be the go-to person for technical questions from customers and colleagues, helping to ensure proposals are sound and that faults are remediated competently and professionally.

Gecko Technology Partners is a leading global reseller of Google Meet Hardware and related technologies. This technical role will support the company across all three of its bases of operation which serve customers globally: UK, Europe and USA.

Responsibilities



Handle enquiries (email/phone) from customers and processing orders Assist customers with their selection and ordering, including providing initial advice on deployment and installation Liaise with external AV integrators for deployment and installation projects Provide timely and accurate responses to existing clients and new leads Produce quotes, proforma invoices, and final invoices for clients Account management, ensuring the highest levels of customer service Provide troubleshooting support to clients as required Provide technical expertise to internal stakeholders and assist with system design on more complex opportunities Provide occasional installation and on-site support services Manage Gecko's fleet of demo equipment

Qualifications and Skills



Experience in installing and deploying Google Meet and/or other VC or AV products Knowledge of Google Workspace is essential Sales experience Technical knowledge of VC and AV products Ability to communicate technical matters clearly with people of all levels of technical expertise Strong written and verbal communication Attention to detail The role may require travel from time to time as required, including site visits, client call-outs, one-day events and multi-day events, both in the UK and overseas Full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential

Working location



Onboarding period will be in-person at the office in

Redhill, RH1 1QZ

After onboarding, there will be the option to either work from home or from the office Regardless of working location, there will be a need to come into the office occasionally and as required
