As an experienced sales professional this is a unique opportunity to be part of the amazing team working for a world expert in making coatings. We are now recruiting for a technical sales professional to nurture short, medium and long-term business opportunities and help secure sales for our extensive range of trade products in sectors such as Social Housing and Education as well as Healthcare, Housebuild, Leisure and many more.

The Role

• Achieve the region\xe2\x80\x99s business plan by helping clients specify AkzoNobel products
• \xe2\x80\x98Features & Benefit\xe2\x80\x99 selling & problem solving
• Present at seminars with existing & new customers
• Act as our regional \xe2\x80\x98coatings expert\xe2\x80\x99
• Resolve complaints, offer technical support & onsite training
• Nurture links with key decision makers and contacts, such as Architects, Maintenance Managers, Designers, Painting Contractors, Building Surveyors, Construction Companies & Facilities Managers
• Keep track of market trends & understand competitor activity and product ranges to ensure we continue to delight customers with unrivalled technical support.

About You

• Experience of sales & account management
• Comfortable resolving customer complaints
• Excellent communication, presentation & interpersonal skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Proficient in using business/IT systems
• Enjoys a collaborative working environment where supporting colleagues is key
