Job Description

Are you a skilled and experienced heating engineer ready to take the next step in your career? We're looking for a

Technical Team Leader

to join our Gasway team and help deliver high-quality, cost-effective heating services across a range of domestic and social housing properties.


In this role, you'll lead by example, provide technical support to engineers, and ensure all work meets safety and compliance standards. You'll also play a key role in training, mentoring, and supporting your team to deliver exceptional service.

This is a full time role, working from our Gasway office on Burnet Rd in Norwich, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

What you will be doing:



Support the delivery of safe, compliant, and efficient heating services across various fuel types (gas, oil, solid fuel). Conduct surveys for new installations and ensure a right-first-time approach. Provide technical guidance and support to engineers. Undertake TSR visits and manage follow-up actions. Prioritise and resolve escalations and customer concerns. Lead on-site training, coaching, and toolbox talks. Promote safe working practices and ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies.

What we are looking for:



+ Proven experience as a domestic/commercial heating engineer. + Strong background in diagnostics, maintenance, and customer service.
+ Experience coaching and developing others.
+ Familiarity with renewable technologies (desirable).
+

Essential:

ACS Gas Qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, etc.), OFTEC, HETAS, Health & Safety certifications.
+ Desirable: NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing, BPEC, experience with LPG systems.
+ Full UK driving licence.
+ Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
+ IT literate and confident using handheld devices.
+ Flexible, reliable, and a natural team leader.
