This key role is responsible for driving sales and building relationships with Trade customer through proactive outbound and inbound calls. This role is also responsible for developing new business opportunities, processing orders and providing excellent customer service.
In addition to the sales duties the role includes administrative support to the General Manager, such as maintaining records, handling correspondence, accounts administration and assisting with day-to-day operational tasks.

Key duties & responsibilities
Sales & Customer Relationship Management
Proactively make outbound calls to existing and potential trade customers to generate sales and build relationships.
Handle inbound sales inquiries via phone and email, providing excellent customer service.
Identify new business opportunities and follow up on leads to grow the brewery's trade customer base.
Maintain a strong understanding of the brewery's product range, promotions, and pricing to effectively communicate with customers.
Process trade orders accurately, ensuring correct pricing, availability, and delivery details.
Develop and maintain a customer database, ensuring all contact details, orders, and interactions are recorded.
Monitor customer buying patterns reacting proactively to encourage repeat business.
Order Processing & Logistics
Liaise with the production and dispatch teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment and timely deliveries.
Handle any order discrepancies, complaints, or issues efficiently to maintain strong customer relationships.
Administrative Support
Provide general administrative support to the General Manager, including record-keeping, correspondence, and document management.
Assist with the preparation of sales reports, tracking performance against targets.
Manage and update price lists, product sheets, and customer communications.
General & Other Duties
Keep up to date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market opportunities.
Contribute ideas and initiatives to help drive sales growth.
Assist in other areas of the business when required, particularly during busy periods or events.

Strong sales skills with the ability to identify opportunities whilst building strong relationships with customers.

Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail, especially in order processing and record-keeping.

Knowledge of trade sales, wholesale, or hospitality sectors is an advantage.
Ability to work independently while also collaborating with the wider team.
