This position involves building and leading a new telesales team within a successful and growing insurance business. You will collaborate with the senior management team to launch the telesales operation, driving the team's performance to achieve company goals.
In this role, you will reach out to new vehicle owners, offering market-leading add-on insurance products.
This is a brand new team within a successful insurance business, while the team and the role develop there will be some general administrative responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
As the Telesales Manager, you will:
Lead, motivate, and develop a small team of telesales agents in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Manage and optimise the operational aspects of the telesales team to enhance productivity and performance
Proactively make outbound calls to potential customers from a provided database
Effectively communicate policy terms and benefits to potential customers
Achieve and exceed targets for calls made and sales generated
Stay informed on company products, services, and industry trends to communicate effectively
Ensure exceptional customer service and maintain high standards for customer interactions
Monitor and improve team performance through continuous coaching, performance metrics, and KPI management
Foster a positive, high-performance culture that drives success and job satisfaction
Essential Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 3 years' experience in telesales, telemarketing, or a similar role
Strong verbal communication skills and a professional phone manner
Goal-oriented with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
Proficiency in managing performance metrics and achieving KPIs (ideal but not essential)
Proven ability to motivate and drive team performance
Full driving licence
