Overview of the role
The Telesales Manager is responsible for leading and developing the telesales function to drive revenue and volume growth, customer acquisition, and retention through effective phone-based selling. This role oversees telesales strategy, team performance, target achievement, and process optimisation. The position requires strong leadership, commercial acumen, and the ability to motivate and coach a high-performing team to deliver consistent results.
Key responsibilities include setting sales targets, analysing performance metrics, implementing sales scripts and training programs, and collaborating with marketing and field sales to maximise conversion and customer engagement. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with hands-on management, ensuring that every call contributes to the company's growth objectives and delivers an exceptional customer experience.
