Job Description

Due to continued success and expansion, we have the need to add to our existing sales team, and are looking for a talented, driven, self-starting Sales Executive to join our friendly team at CWB Wholesale.

We have an established customer base, with an ever-growing market share. This is a fantastic opportunity to have a direct impact on our growth plans, with an opportunity to further develop your career in business development.

We are looking for applicants who have a drive for success and have the energy and ability to have a significant impact on our success. You will be required to sell hand tools and consumables business to business, creating and maximizing all sales opportunities, whilst delivering a first-class customer experience.

Responsibilities of this role include:

Grow new business across the marketplace Developing new sales opportunities using outbound cold emails, cold calls and lead follow-ups. Answering customers' questions, resolving their concerns and providing additional information via calls and emails Develop efficient communication techniques to grow business through; networking, email, social media, referrals and events Upselling where ever possible Ensure technical knowledge of the product is sufficient Direct prospects to the correct team when required Communicating with customers to understand their needs and requirements and identify sales opportunities Explaining and demonstrating the functions and features of products Maintaining and improving the database of prospects Researching for new leads Keeping up to date with product and service information and competitor offers
Please note: on occasions, this role will also involve picking up incoming sales at times of cover

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following qualities:

A good and demonstrable background in sales Proven track record of successfully meeting sales targets, preferably via telephone A team player, working for the overall success of the business Excellent customer service skills Exceptional telephone manner and interpersonal skills Experience working with telephones and handling multiple calls and emails daily Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills Patience, time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks Proactive attitude, with a drive for success Good knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g., CRM software) and telephone systems
