Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting dentists during procedures, providing excellent patient care, and ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic. Responsibilities

Assist dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials before appointments Sterilise and maintain dental equipment in accordance with health and safety standards Provide patients with pre- and post-treatment instructions, ensuring they understand care procedures Record patient information accurately using IT systems, maintaining confidentiality at all times Support with administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling and patient correspondence Ensure the clinic environment remains clean, organised, and welcoming for patients and staff

Skills

Proven experience or background in patient care within a healthcare setting Good command of English, both written and verbal, to communicate effectively with patients and team members Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills to reassure patients and collaborate with colleagues Basic IT literacy for maintaining electronic health records and administrative documentation Knowledge of nursing principles relevant to dental care is desirable but training can be provided for the right candidate
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Contract length: 2 weeks

Pay: 12.21-15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 21 per week
