Temporary Part-Time Finance and Admin Assistant (8 months)

Background:

We are seeking maternity cover for 8 months for a Finance and Admin Assistant

Key Responsibilities and Duties:



Sales Ledger Administration



Process sales invoices in a timely fashion on the company's ERP system and customer systems Manage credit control Post customer cash received to bank and ERP systems

Purchase Ledger Administration



Process purchase invoices on the company's ERP system and Finance system

Other Duties



To be fully familiar with the Finance system including cover for the other areas of the Finance system as required. To undertake such work as you are assigned in a careful and efficient way. To communicate in a friendly, helpful and non-prejudicial manner in your dealings with staff, clients and/or customers as you will be regarded as a representative of your department as well as the Company, and you should behave accordingly. To be aware of and abide by the rules and codes of conduct of the department. This is particularly important in the case of Health & Safety and Fire procedures. To behave in a professional manner and co-operate with all other members of staff at all times. To work flexible hours according to the Department requirements, as decided by Management. To attend meetings, training sessions and audits as required. To maintain the highest standards of quality within the department at all times

Qualifications/Experience/Knowledge and Skills:



Essential

:

Experience in Sales Ledger and credit control

Data Entry Skills, Attention to Detail, Confidentiality, Reporting Skills, Numerate.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.

Personal Qualities:



Flexible, highly motivated, effective team player; methodical, ability to understand and meet targets and deadlines, able to learn and assimilate new information.

Working Hours:


This role will be based at the Denby site (Denby Hall Business Park). Hours of work will be Monday to Wednesday 09.00 till 17:00 with 30 mins for lunch. (Hours of work can be flexible to fit with suitable candidate)
