F&I Group has an exciting opportunity for a Tenant Liaison Officer to join our team. The role of the TLO is to ensure the smooth running of projects by building and maintaining positive relationships between residents and sub-contractors, carrying out building maintenance and repairs to their homes.
You would be based mainly in the South Tyneside area.
About the Role:
You will be working on/off-site under the direction of management, responding to customer care issues as required. The successful candidate should possess and be able to demonstrate a combination of the following qualities:
Previous TLO experience (desired but not essential)
Customer Care/Customer Service experience (required)
Full UK Driving License (required)
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
Understand the need to be respectful, understanding, sensitive, patient and discrete
Be a team player, but also comfortable working alone
Confident using IT, specifically Office 365
Excellent organisational skills
Experience of working with contractors and tradespeople within a construction or building maintenance environment
Experience in complaint handling
Key Responsibilities:
The key responsibilities of the role will include all aspects of a Tenant Liaison Officer including:
This role will be out of the office a lot of the time, in resident's home actively engaging with residents
You will be the main contact for residents during the works
You will regularly update residents on progress, consult with them regarding work being carried out to their homes and support them through the process from start to finish
You will assist with monitoring the effectiveness of works carried out, resolving issues as and when they occur
You will work closely with tradespeople to establish a consistent service
Raise any site matters including issues of health and safety, poor or defective workmanship or any other issues
Keep management up to date with progress on site and liaise with them directly each day
Deal with complaints in a patient and empathetic manner
