We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Third in Charge Practitioner to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. As a Third in Charge Practitioner, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the development our children. Your role will involve managing activities, promoting social and emotional growth, and effectively communicating with both children and their families.
Duties
Develop and implement activities that cater to the developmental needs and interests of preschool-aged children.
Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment that encourages exploration and learning.
Manage daily activities, ensuring that all children are actively participating and engaged.
Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social skills and emotional development.
Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress, behaviour, and any concerns.
Maintain accurate records of children's development and learning outcomes.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational programme and share best practices in early childhood education.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the nursery setting.
Requirements
A qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field is essential.
Previous experience working with young children in a childcare or nursery setting is highly desirable.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a classroom effectively.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact positively with children, parents, and colleagues.
A genuine passion for childcare and early childhood education, demonstrating patience and understanding towards children's needs.
Ability to drive may be advantageous for transporting materials or attending off-site events.
