Do you enjoy doing DIY around the house? Are you looking for a career change in a growing and forward thinking organisation? If so, we really want to hear from you.
We have an exciting opportunity available for a third year electrical apprentice, to learn all the skills required to become a qualified trades person, within our talented Inhouse Maintenance Service (IMS) team. You will be based in and around the Camborne area.
Please only apply if you are in the third year of an electrical apprenticeship.
You will be buddied up with various mentors, who have a wealth of experience in Electrical work. On a day to day basis, you will learn how to carry out regular maintenance jobs in our customer's homes, while working across several teams and locations. No two days will be the same.
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about doing a good job, delivering world class customer service and who are willing to continually learn. Our Apprenticeship programme is a great way to start your career in a trade, learn on the job and gain a qualification and the great news is that you can be any age to undertake an apprenticeship - therefore we welcome applications from any age (16 - 65).
We may also be able to offer part time and flexible working - a minimum of 30 hours per week will be required for the apprenticeship.
You will need to travel to meet your mentor each day - either to a LiveWest office or at a pre-agreed meeting point therefore you will need to be able to get yourself there. Of course, you will be reimbursed your travel expenses. PLEASE NOTE: a driving licence will be essential for your future employment, so, if you don't already, you will need to have one in place by the end of the apprenticeship period.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable groups, and expect all colleagues to share this commitment. Appointment to the post will be subject to a satisfactory basic check via the Disclosure and Barring Service.
