We are a busy turf farm dedicated to producing high-quality turf for residential and commercial customers. We are looking for a motivated and reliable team member to join our operations and take on a role with harvesting, turf maintenance and general farm duties. We are also producing and bagging topsoil on the yard, there will be work required on this aswell.
Position Overview
The Harvester / Tractor Driver & Farm Worker will be responsible for operating state of the art Trebro TSR harvesting machinery, tractors, and other equipment, as well as assisting with day-to-day yard work. This role requires someone hands-on, safety-minded, and comfortable working on a wide range of different things. This job requires a good eye for quality and always trying to produce the best for the business. We are a small family turf farm cultivating 130 acres, we need reliable staff that have experience with expensive machinery and who will treat it as their own.
Key Responsibilities
Operate turf harvester and tractors safely and efficiently
loading and transporting turf
General farm labour duties including irrigation, maintenance, and clean-up
Routine machinery checks and basic maintenance
Follow farm procedures and safety guidelines
Work as part of a small, supportive team
Requirements
Experience operating tractors or farm machinery (turf harvester experience highly regarded but not essential)
Physically fit and able to work outdoors
Current driver's licence
Reliable, punctual, and willing to adapt
Ability to work early mornings and late nights.
Alternate Sunday harvest
