Job Summary

We are seeking a Transport & Warehouse Operator to join our growing team in Bury St Edmunds. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the smooth coordination of Groupage, Full Load transport as well as our ETSF warehouse operations. The ideal candidate should have some prior experience. .

Key Responsibilities:

Route planning, scheduling, and dispatching of trucks to ensure timely and efficient deliveries. Collaboration with customers, drivers, and fleet maintenance providers to ensure proper dispatch, truck/trailer services, and driver allocation. Liaise with management to manage driver-related issues and assist with day-to-day operational challenges. Oversee traffic operations and regulatory compliance, ensuring safety standards and documentation are followed. Provide customer service support by addressing operational concerns and maintaining strong communication with teams.

Requirements:

Previous experience in ETSF and Groupage transport would be desirable Knowledge of VBS systems, Destin8, and other relevant platforms. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Flexibility in work hours, with potential on-call responsibilities. Core Working Hours are Monday - Friday 08:00-18:00 with some flexibility on start and finish times
