We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Delivery Driver / Yard Operative to join our team at our brand new depot in Shildon. This role involves working with various powered access equipment, transporting using a pick up and trailer, ensuring our customers receive their machines on time, every time.
Responsibilities
Deliver and collect lightweight access equipment using company vehicle and trailer.
To complete company standard paperwork and documentation such as daily vehicle checks and tachographs to a high standard.
To abide by all health and safety & operational procedures at all times.
To conduct yourself in a professional and friendly manner at all times to our customers, suppliers and visitors.
To carry out steam cleaning, valeting and general yard duties when not delivering and collecting.
To work along side our depot service engineers in an effective and productive manner.
Experience
Full UK driving license to include category B&E
Valid Digital Tachograph Card
IPAF License (Desirable however company will provide all relevant IPAF training where required).
Towing experience (Desirable).
Experience as a van driver or delivery driver is advantageous.
Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards is beneficial.
Strong communication skills are required to work effectively within a team setting.
