We are seeking an experienced Bar Manager to oversee the daily operations of our bar, ensuring a high standard of service and customer satisfaction. This role involves managing staff, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.

Duties

Supervise and manage bar staff, providing training and support to ensure excellent service. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring quality and adherence to safety standards. Maintain inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and manage stock rotation to minimise waste. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety practices. Develop and implement bar menus, including cocktails and food pairings that enhance the guest experience. Foster a positive team environment through effective communication and team management. Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner, ensuring satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food production for bar service. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area at all times.

Experience

Previous experience in a supervisory role within a bar or restaurant setting is essential. Culinary experience or background in food production is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Experience in hospitality with a focus on customer service excellence. Familiarity with barista duties is an advantage but not mandatory. A passion for the hospitality industry and commitment to delivering high-quality service.
