During this 2-year programme you\'ll learn the industry, and the fundamentals of supporting our Carrier Management Team across Retail and Specialty divisions, in a global, Fortune 500 company.


Futures will equip participants, with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in the world of insurance brokering and risk management. All hours spent in training are hours worked and are paid competitively. This is a full-time role. Responsibilities:


Every day presents new challenges, ensuring your work remains dynamic and engaging. As a Market Relationship Trainee, you will learn to effectively:


Support leaders with tender process for any new or renewing facility and with renewals of Portfolio contracts; Collect insurer partners\' revenue data for timely reconciliation with Finance in order to invoice and collect fees on time


Prepare meeting agendas and schedule meetings with internal and external participants; Attend meetings with insurer partners and evaluate service delivery against business plans and contracts; Create meeting notes using standard templates and distribute to all parties


Manage and update SharePoint site content; Update briefing documents and provide them to leaders; Distribute quarterly information packs to Insurer Partners and respond to questions


Master internal procedures in accordance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, good governance and Gallagher\xe2\x80\x99s shared values putting clients at the heart of our business Qualifications:

  • University degree in Business, Risk Management, or a related field preferred, not required
  • Willing and able to obtain your Associateship of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII)
  • Eligible to work in the UK

Technical Knowledge
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Interest in and aptitude to learn the insurance industry and Insurer Partnerships

Skills
  • Effective communication
  • Able to develop and further relationships both internally and externally to develop a strong network
  • Able to prepare and deliver oral presentations
  • Able to organise and prioritise work and ensure that deadlines are met
  • Create meeting notes
  • Work autonomously and as part of a team
