We work with Local Council's and NHS Groups to provide a Managed Account and Payroll Service for clients who lack the capacity or don't want the responsibility to manage this themselves. Overview
We are seeking a Trainee Direct Payment Officer to join our small and motivated team.
We are offering a competitive initial salary up to 27,000 dependent on experience
After passing a 6-month probationary period, the salary could increase up to 30,000
Responsibilities
- Data Entry related to financial transactions using Excel
- Payroll Processing and Auto Enrolment using Sage 50 Payroll
- Accurate Payment processing using Online Banking
- Internal Audit checks to ensure accurate Payroll and Payment processing
- Pension Declaration submissions
- Completing accurate Council & NHS Audits in a timely manner
- Admin tasks including processing client documentation and scheduling appointments
- Answer incoming calls from social workers, carers and vulnerable clients professionally and empathetically
- Provide accurate information, guidance and support to callers and emailers regarding our services
- Visiting and Calling clients to complete Internal and Council Audits
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care and discretion
- Other ad hoc tasks to support the service manager
Skills
Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge of Direct Payments/Personal Health Budgets and/or relate fields is an advantage
- Sage 50 Payroll and Excel experience useful but not essential
