WPS is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented

Trainee Estimator

to join our team in Finsbury Park. This is a fantastic opportunity to kickstart your career in construction and estimating, working on high-impact projects that improve homes and communities across the UK.

About the Role

As a Trainee Estimator, you'll support the Estimating team in preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for planned and responsive maintenance works. You'll gain hands-on experience in:

Assisting with the preparation of tender submissions and cost plans Reviewing drawings, specifications, and contract documents Liaising with supply chain partners to obtain quotations Supporting the team in pricing works and identifying risks and opportunities Attending site visits and pre-tender meetings

What We're Looking For

A keen interest in construction, property services, or quantity surveying Strong numeracy and analytical skills Excellent attention to detail and willingness to learn Good communication and teamwork abilities GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English; further education in construction or engineering is a plus
