About the Role
As a
Trainee Registered Manager
, you will support the Registered Manager in the
management, coordination and development
of high-quality therapeutic residential services for young people.
Key responsibilities include:
Assisting in the management and development of a
therapeutic children's home
Ensuring the home
exceeds the Children's Homes Regulations 2015
and all relevant legislation
Promoting
relationships as central
to practice, working empathetically with young people, their families, professionals and partner agencies
Providing
effective, dynamic and compassionate leadership
, leading by example and acting as a role model
Supporting team development and understanding the impact of
vicarious trauma
on staff wellbeing
Embedding
reflective practice
and Lily's therapeutic approach within day-to-day care and documentation
Ensuring staff receive
meaningful supervision
, guidance and support
Identifying staff support needs and implementing appropriate strategies
Delivering
high-quality staff inductions
, ensuring new team members feel confident and effective
Ensuring all paperwork is
accurate, reflective and evidences children's progress
Development & Support
Working closely under the mentorship of our
Registered Managers
and
Senior Leadership Team
, you will gain hands-on experience in all aspects of managing a residential children's home in line with:
