Trainee Trade Counter Sales Assistant
Job Description
Due to our recent expansion we have an excellent opportunity for trainee trade counter assistant to work at our Kirkintilloch branch.
We require a individual who can work in a team environment, is reliable and has an enthusiasm to learn and develop within the industry.
Interest in ironmongery and building supplies is preferred but not essential.
Successful trainee will undergo our in house and certified training programmes working through our sales development pathway.
As experience is gained duties and responsibilities will include:
- Serving customers on the counter and answering telephone enquires, taking orders, processing and responding to and chasing quotes.
- Processing new stock deliveries daily
- General shop floor house keeping
- Excellent communication skills
- Prepare orders for delivery or collection
- Offer customers product knowledge and advice
- Any other duties as required
Working hours will be Monday- Friday 8am- 5pm
Salary: Competitive depending on age.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From 25,000.00 per year
