Safer Business Network is a not-for-profit Community Interest Company dedicated to creating safer communities through effective partnerships since 2011.

Our training program is experiencing exciting growth, delivering specialist, empowering, and affordable training nationally and internationally. We support key sectors and initiatives, including Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG), workplace violence, licensing, hospitality, security, and more.

Position Overview:



The Training Officer will support the Training and Development Manager in designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their career in training and development while making a tangible difference. We will give you access to a CRM system to keep accurate records and track customers. Alongside delivering training, your responsibilities will include prospecting new customers and support existing through effective communication, scheduling training, and content creation for training and social platforms. This is a great position for someone who is organised, enthusiastic and loves talking to people from all diverse backgrounds.

This role would suit someone within travelling distance to London, with occasional travel required across the UK.

Key Responsibilities



Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions to diverse audiences, both in person and online. Assist in creating and updating training materials, ensuring they remain relevant and effective. Support the coordination of training schedules, venues, and logistics. Collect and analyse participant feedback to enhance future training sessions. Maintain accurate records of training sessions, attendance, and outcomes. Work closely with the Training and Development Manager and other team members to ensure smooth programme delivery.
Develop and secure new business opportunities by identifying potential clients, building strong relationships, and showcasing our expertise. Along with increasing our eLearning offering.

Represent our organisation at networking events, conferences, and industry forums to raise our profile and drive growth.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Presentation:

Confident presenting to groups and engaging participants effectively in-person or online.

Organisation:

Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.

A genuine interest in training, development, and personal growth.

Desirable Skills and Qualifications



Training background:

Experience in delivering training.

Awareness of workplace safety

: Knowledge of Violence Against Women and Girls, violence reduction, licensing and/or similar fields.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Teams and PowerPoint )

Social Media and CRM Skills

: Ideally knowledge in the use of LinkedIn, X and Instagram. We will show you how to use our CRM system.
