Recognizing the environmental impact of conventional logistics methods, the company has embarked on an ambitious journey to transition its fleet of diesel-powered trailers to electric-powered alternatives. By the end of 2026, Bannister Transport aims to achieve zero-emission from its trailer fleet, setting new standards for environmental responsibility in the sector.

Due to significant growth within our business recently we are looking to expand our team. We are seeking Dispatch Administrator to enhance our current team and provide support to our Planning team.

Responsibilities - we aim to train you to be able to:

Collaborate with drivers, dispatchers, and other team members to determine the most effective routes and resolve any operational issues Monitor and track deliveries to ensure on-time delivery and update customers or stakeholders as necessary Conduct regular analysis to optimize routes, reduce transportation costs, and improve overall operational efficiency Coordinate with warehouse personnel to ensure timely loading and unloading of goods Maintain accurate records and documentation of deliveries, and customer interactions Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and timely manner Participate in regular meetings and provide recommendations for process improvements

Desired Experience

Strong IT skills (MS Office) preferred An aptitude for problem solving and analytical thinking Strong organizational and time-management abilities Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment

The position is required for either Sunday-Weds or Weds-Sat shift pattern. We work 3 x 12 hour shifts and a 6 hour shift on Wednesdays. More details of this will be provided at interview stage.

Salary 27000 with a path to 29000 based on willingness to progress.
