Transport Administrator
to support our busy operations team on a part-time basis.
Key Responsibilities
Use
Haulage Exchange
daily to source, book, and manage subcontracted vehicles.
Monitor ongoing jobs and check on hauliers to ensure timely completion.
Chase and collect
Proof of Delivery (POD)
documents and upload them to our systems.
Communicate with drivers, customers, and partner depots professionally via phone and email.
Assist in updating load sheets, booking notes, and invoice information accurately.
Support the transport manager with day-to-day logistics coordination.
Requirements
Experience using Haulage Exchange
(essential).
Experience in transport and confident managing multiple deliveries.
Good understanding of UK road haulage and palletised freight operations.
Strong computer skills (Office, email, and online portals).
Excellent communication, attention to detail, and organisation skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Flexible, reliable, and professional approach.
Hours & Pay
Part-time:
16.5-20 hours per week (flexible schedule).
Competitive hourly rate depending on experience.
Potential to expand to full-time as the company grows.
