Summary

"We are seeking a Transport & Customer Service Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will act as a communication bridge between the transport company & and the customer.

You will be responsible for arranging & booking deliveries with the haulage company, booking in deliveries & communicating with customers and key on site contacts.

Responsibilities

Excellent customer service skills is as must. You are the first point of contact for customer calls & emails Keep customers updated about their shipment, service updates and any potential issues Computer literate. Ability to update excel spreadsheets & print off customer delivery notes. Develop & maintain relationships with key customers Coordinate and communicate with the factory manager regarding delivery items Act as a liaison between clients and candidates, ensuring effective communication at all times Take phone call enquiries from customers regarding delivery queries. Provide regular updates, quotation of deliveries and proof of delivery. Knowledge of vehicle weight and capacity is essential Knowledge of the areas to route multiple deliveries efficiently.

Qualifications

Proven experience in customer service or related field. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Fork lift truck licence is beneficial
