to support our growing team.

The Role:

As Transport Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our van fleet, ensuring efficiency, compliance and excellent service delivery. You will manage a team of drivers and ensure that all transport activities align with company policies, legal requirements, and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Complete loading of products in an efficient & timely manner. This is a hands-on

role and a good level of physical fitness is required.

Plan and manage vehicle routes to optimize delivery times and costs

Ensure full compliance with transport legislation and health & safety regulations

Manage driver schedules, performance, and training

Monitor fleet maintenance, fuel usage, and vehicle inspections

Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports for auditing

Develop and implement improvements to transport operations

Requirements:

Experience in local transport operations

Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
