Key Responsibilities:

Lead daily transport operations to ensure timely, safe, and efficient delivery of goods Actively seek and secure new transport contracts through your network and business development efforts Develop transport strategies that support business growth and customer satisfaction Manage supplier and client relationships to ensure smooth logistics and delivery Oversee vehicle maintenance schedules and ensure full compliance with safety and DVSA regulations Use transport software and IT tools (Word, Excel, TMS) to manage shipments and generate performance reports Analyse transport costs and identify opportunities to increase efficiency Provide leadership to the driver and transport team, promoting operational excellence and customer focus Report regularly to senior management on performance, costs, and contract pipeline

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience as a Transport Manager or similar role within haulage or logistics Holder of a valid

CPC (National)

Strong commercial mindset with

a network of industry contacts

to help generate new contracts Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel); experience using transport/logistics IT systems Excellent organisational and multitasking skills Clear and confident communication in English, both written and verbal Proactive attitude with a continuous improvement mindset
