ICT Reverse is a leading technology solutions provider specialising in IT asset disposal, data destruction, and environmentally responsible recycling. Our mission is to help businesses efficiently manage their technology lifecycle while adhering to industry standards for data security and sustainability. We're looking for a qualified transport manager to oversee both our drivers, and fleet of vehicles.

Our current fleet consists of 13 vans, 1 HGV, and a rigid body shredding truck, which are vital to the day-to-day running of our operations. The Transport Manager will be responsible for overseeing the efficient utilisation, compliance, and maintenance of this fleet, ensuring that all vehicles are operated safely, legally, and cost-effectively.

This role requires exceptional organisational skills to plan and coordinate vehicle schedules, optimise routes, and minimise downtime. Equally important are strong leadership and people management skills, as the successful candidate will lead, support, and motivate our team of drivers and logistics coordinators to deliver a professional, customer-focused service.

The Transport Manager will also be expected to:

Monitor and enforce compliance with transport legislation, including driver hours, vehicle checks, and tachograph requirements. Oversee vehicle servicing, inspections, and repairs to maintain roadworthiness and safety standards. Foster a positive working environment, ensuring effective communication across the team. Identify opportunities to improve operational processes, sustainability, and fleet performance. Travel to our Watford hub once per month to oversee drivers and operations from this location.
This is a key role within the business, requiring a proactive individual with the ability to balance strategic planning and hands-on operational management.

Essential Qualifications & Requirements



Transport Manager Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) Strong knowledge of UK and EU transport legislation (including drivers' hours, Working Time Directive, vehicle compliance, and tachograph rules). 2+ years experience in fleet and logistics management - ideally managing a mixed fleet (vans, HGVs, and specialist vehicles). Experience in booking and coordinating overseas trips - including ferry/train bookings, route planning, and scheduling for European operations. Excellent organisational and planning skills Leadership and people management experience Good IT skills - confident using transport management systems, fleet tracking, and Microsoft Office. Health & safety awareness - with knowledge of risk assessments, safe loading, and vehicle maintenance standards. Strong communication skills - both verbal and written, for liaising with drivers, coordinators, and senior management. Problem-solving ability - capable of responding quickly to operational challenges Full UK Driving Licence - preferably including categories to drive vans and HGVs
