Job Description

Due to our recent Business partnership with Buffaload Logistics, we are currently seeking a skilled and experienced qualified Transport Manager to join our team based in Spalding.

The suitable Candidate will be highly organised and detail oriented with a strong focus on compliance to join our team on a full-time permanent basis.

The Transport Manager will play a critical role in overseeing and optimising the Transportation Operations while ensuring strict adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.

Working closely with the Operations manager, you will play an integral part in continuing the successes already achieved and securing the continued growth of the business.

This individual will be responsible for maintaining and improving compliance standards, as well as implementing efficient and sustainable transportation practices to support business objectives.

LOCATION: Spalding

SALARY: 45,000

WORKING PATTERN: Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the main point of contact for all transportation-related regulatory authorities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting, permitting and compliance. Ensure all drivers remain compliant per licence, hours, CPC and ensure records are maintained complaint, communicating with the planning team where applicable Play an integral part in vehicle maintenance planning, including MOTs, ensuring all defects are recorded and resolved in a timely manner. Coordinate and monitor the compliance and inspection of the transportation fleet to ensure vehicles are in optimal condition. Regularly review and update policies, procedures and documentation to ensure they align with latest regulatory changes and best practice. Collaborate with the health and safety team to implement and maintain comprehensive safety training programs for all transportation personnel.
This role would highly suit a transport professional that has demonstrated a strong understanding and knowledge in compliance associated with national and international regulations.

Requirements For The Role:

Experience in transport management Transport Managers CPC (Essential) Strong understanding of transport compliance - drivers hours and working time regulations Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
