Summary

We are seeking a Transport Manager to join our dynamic team at Beesley & Fildes Ltd. In this role, you will oversee our transportation operations, ensuring efficient logistics and delivery of our products to customers. Your leadership will be key in maintaining our high standards of service and operational excellence.

Hours:

Monday to Friday 07:30am to 17:00pm, and alternating Saturdays 08:00am to 12:00pm.

Pay:

32,000 to 35,000 DOE

Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate all transport activities to ensure timely delivery of goods. Develop and implement efficient logistics strategies to optimize transportation costs. Lead and mentor the transport team, fostering a culture of safety and accountability. Monitor vehicle maintenance schedules to ensure compliance with regulations. Collaborate with other departments to align transportation needs with overall business objectives. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the transport operations.

Requirements

Proven experience in transport management or logistics within the construction or related industry. (Essential) Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficient in IT applications including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and general computer literacy. Valid Drivers Licence and CPC qualification (preferred)
