Tooles Transport Ltd, are part of EFS Global which is a fast-growing Logistics group with over 30 depots throughout the UK. We are currently recruiting for Transport Planner, to join our experienced team.

A transport Planner is a key member of our team, primarily responsible for the smooth running of our delivery/collection vehicles.

Experienced in planning and routing haulage work on Artic vehicles Establishing customer requirements accurately and arranging collections and deliveries, within stated timescales Routing vehicles efficiently both from a time management point of view and to minimize distance traveled, with regard to weight and size of vehicles Work using traffic management systems and prioritizing freight to meet customer needs and the commercial needs of the company. Searching online platforms for loads as required Debrief drivers, manage and monitor their performance, escalating any infringements or performance issues to management and HR department Ensure all work is carried out with due regard for health and safety of our customers, employees and visitors Report any accidents, incidents and issues to management immediately Support the company in making sure all license checks are up to date, that the WTD is adhered to and the drivers have completed the training necessary for their driver DQC Monitor defect reporting and liaise with the workshop over availability Support Accounts and Customer Service teams to ensure that jobs can be invoiced promptly by making sure they are priced in a timely manner and paperwork is complete Any queries or complaints should be dealt with promptly to ensure our customers get the best possible experience when dealing with Tooles Transport Excellent IT skills and experience in TMS/routing programs CPC or experience in driver/vehicle compliance advantageous

Working hours:

Full Time permanent Monday - Friday

plus

Saturday AM one in two (8:00am until 13:00pm) Rotating AM/PM shifts 8:00am until 18:00pm or 11:00am until 21:00pm

Salary & Benefits

Salary of between 35,000.00 - 40,000.00 dependent on qualification, experience and suitability for the role. Benefits Company Pension, onsite parking, life insurance
