Job Overview

We are a newly formed UK Logistics company with core staff having collectively over 75 years experience in the shipping and transport industry.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Transport Planner to join our team. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy to meet the needs of our customers.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement transport plans that maximise efficiency and minimise costs. Coordinate with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of goods. Maintain accurate records of transport activities and systems kept up to date. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards within the transport sector. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Support Transport Manager in daily operational responsibilities Deliver KPI's and provide reports/updates to senior management

Skills

Strong management skills to oversee transport operations effectively. Minimum 2 years previous experience in a transport/ traffic office and vehicle planning required. Solid understanding of supply chain processes and their impact on transport planning. Excellent leadership abilities to guide colleagues towards achieving operational goals. Exceptional communication skills to liaise with clients, suppliers, and colleagues. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while adhering to deadlines. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about logistics and possess the necessary skills to contribute positively to our transport planning efforts.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 30,000.00-35,000.00 per year
