Mon-Fri, 08:30-17:00 (with 1 in 4 weekends on call)

About the Role

We're looking for an organised and proactive

Fleet & Transport Planner

to join our team. This is a key position ensuring our nationwide fleet operations run smoothly, efficiently, and in full compliance with UK transport and ADR regulations. You'll be the link between our drivers, hauliers, front office, and sales teams--keeping everything moving while maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance, and customer service.

What You'll Be Doing

Planning fleet maintenance, servicing, inspections, and repairs. Ensuring full compliance with MOT, ADR, VOSA, and safety standards. Managing costs and finding ways to improve efficiency. Planning and scheduling transport across the UK for bulk liquids and packaged materials. Liaising daily with sales and customer service to meet client needs. Supporting drivers and subcontractors, ensuring health & safety procedures are followed. Monitoring customer tanks and arranging timely deliveries or collections.

What We're Looking For

Strong organisational and coordination skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities. Experience in fleet management, transport planning, or logistics. Good knowledge of vehicle maintenance schedules and UK transport legislation. IT skills, ideally including SAP and Excel. Excellent communicator, confident working under pressure. CPC qualification (or working towards one) would be a plus. Flexibility to support occasional weekend work.
