Job Description

Holmes Tree Services are looking for a tree surgeon to join our friendly, family run business on a sub contract basis.

Your daily work will consist of a variety of tree work from hedge maintenance and vegetation management, to tree felling, thinning, reductions, pollards, crown lifting, removal and stump grinding.

Our work is fast pace, all year round, in all weather conditions and covers both commercial and domestic projects as well as Arboricultural Utilities management.

Hours variey from day to day, starting at 7.00am and finishing at around 4.00pm sometimes earlier/later depending on the need of the job. We can offer work Monday-Friday as well as part time.

Must hold a full UK Driving licence as travel to and from unit is required.

Must have own PPE and equipment, however, uniform and some PPE will be provided.

Essential qualifications required;

Chainsaw Maintenence and Cross Cutting
Felling small trees up to 380mm
Tree Climbing and Aerial Rescue
Chainsaw from a rope and harness

Desirable qualifications but not essential;

Emergency First Aid +F
Woodchippers
Stump grinders
MEWP
UA 301, 302, 303, 304, 305

References required

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 130.00-180.00 per day
