Job brief




We are looking for a Triage Worker who under the direction of the Senior Team Leader will work within a small team to act as first point of contact for families whose child has a neurodevelopmental difference, whether diagnosed or not.



This role will provide administrative support to the team, and a co-ordinate a responsive service for parents requiring support.

Key Tasks



Manage all incoming referrals and triage accordingly. Register parents to the service via telephone. Receive all incoming calls to the service and triage appropriately, transfer calls, or take messages as necessary. Book parent appointments. Manage the family support teams calendars. Attend drop-in sessions as required to welcome parents, support with registrations and make refreshments. Attend team meetings, record actions and distribute minutes. Keep all case files up to date and record accurate information in a timely manner. Co-ordinate training bookings. Support the team with the making and posting of visuals and resources for families. Contribute towards the protection of individuals from abuse by adhering to Daisy Chains Child and At-Risk Adults Safeguarding policies at all times. Ensure confidentiality is maintained and that Daisy Chains GDPR Policy is adhered to at all times

Experience



Previous experience in an office environment E, A Experience of multi-agency working D, A&I Proven experience of supporting families/children/young people in a formal or informal setting D, A&I

Qualifications



Educated to GCSE Level E, A Relevant level 3 qualification or equivalent E, A Relevant safeguarding training qualification, or willingness to undertake E, A

Knowledge & Skills
