JOB PURPOSE

Please note this is a 6 months Paternity Cover

Our retail spaces provide an immersive and experiential setting for our customers to connect with our brand, and our Workplace Services team work to ensure our stores are of the highest standards throughout the world. We have created a new opportunity for an experienced and knowledgeable Maintenance Manager to join us here at Burberry, where you will be responsible for the delivery of maintenance services within our UK market. This is an exciting role that will be focused on ensuring the delivery of R&M, cleaning and other facilities services meets Burberry luxury standards. Alongside this, you\'ll contribute to various priorities across the wider team, and will play a key role in forming a consistent approach to facilities services within the EMEIA region and retail operational excellence.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Visiting our UK locations on an agreed schedule, reporting, auditing and monitoring on delivered services
  • Actioning any reactive works as and when needed, ensuring customer and client experience is not impacted
  • Producing and managing a yearly calendar covering PPM works, ensuring retail teams are updated and aware of any changes
  • Managing budgetary compliance, tracking of Opex budgets and Vendor Invoice Management
  • Ensuring statutory and local market compliance for all H&S systems, as well as sustainability reporting and compliance in individual countries
  • Working closely with the Architecture team on refurbishments, pop ups, new store opening and closures, including effective closure of snagging/defect lists
PERSONAL PROFILE
  • Previous experience within a facilities management and/or luxury store operation essential
  • Fluency in English essential
  • Vendor management experience from a commercial real estate setting
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with a specific focus on customer experience
  • Proficient with MS office
  • CAFM system knowledge
  • Excellent communicator, confident in building relationships with both internal and external stakeholders with varying levels of seniority, technical understanding and cultures
  • Ability to prioritise and define urgent/important tasks and effectively make decisions in a fast-paced environment
