Utility Administrator - Full Time (SB/109/UA)
Morrow Contracts was founded nearly 40 years ago and is one of the most respected utilities and civil engineering companies in Northern Ireland.
We have an exciting permanent opportunity for an experienced administrator to join our established office based administrative team.
The successful candidate must be competent in dealing directly with Supervisors to ensure the daily workload is processed in a methodical and efficient manner.
Essential Criteria
GCSE / GCE 'O'Level English and Maths (Grade A-C) or equivalent
A minimum of 3 years administrative experience in a busy environment, working to deadlines and adhering to KPI's and SLA's
Experience in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel and Word
Strong communication skills and the ability to multi task
Ability to work within a team environment and manage your desk effectively
Hours: Monday - Friday (08:00 - 17:00)
Salary: based on experience
Due to our location, the successful candidate must have own transport
About the role
The Role
The role is working as part of a busy team incorporating a combination of various administration duties and telephone work
Primarily working closely with Supervisors both via telephone and face to face, ensuring jobs are processed efficiently on our database,
Attention to detail is essential to spot discrepancies and deal with accordingly
Being proactive in managing the system to deliver a high level of administration
Working off bespoke system to produce job packs including processing utility maps
Answer telephone calls both externally and internally and resolve any queries effectively
Ad-hoc duties as required
Full training is provided on all bespoke systems
We are looking for someone with a strong sense of responsibility who is keen to learn and provide excellent administrative support.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build a rapport with client contacts is expected
The role will develop through time and the successful candidate will be given the opportunity to learn other roles within the department
