ROLE SUMMARY

The Country Brand Lead will work across the Vaccine Portfolio with the Commercial Director\xe2\x80\x99s in the planning, development, and implementation of the strategic and operational plans to appropriately shape the environment to enable us to bring our Vaccines to patients in the UK. They will drive customer operation excellence at country level and bring customer insight into BU to influence/shape strategy and tactics. They will lead and coordinate the in-country cross functional team including close liaison with medical, policy and public affairs, health and value, communications, legal and regulatory, they will also be the key contact for all things associated with these brands with the new Global and local brand teams.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Marketing & Strategy Execution to Maximise Revenues:

  • Drive execution of the pipeline vaccines strategic and tactical country brand plan
  • Lead development and implementation of key brand programs
  • Work with the Commercial Director to plan lead and implement strategies to support the smooth an effective introduction of the Vaccines to meet the needs of NHS customers and patients.
Leadership:
  • Lead in-country cross functional brand team, including coordinating the activities of members of the team as appropriate in order to achieve success
  • Manage relations with key internal & external stakeholders
  • Ensure effective engagement and collaboration with Global brand teams to support execution of brand plans and global approach.
Financial Planning:
  • Plan/meet/exceed local revenue/DME targets
  • Accountable for the planning & spending of budgets (revenue/DME) agreed for own areas of responsibility & developing regular forecast updates to aid financial planning
  • Role in overseeing country sales and forecasting, including monitoring performance vs KPIs
Digital:
  • Lead digital marketing strategy within non-mRNA vaccines
  • Maximise impact of marketing activities through optimal channel mix, including digital channels
Customer Engagement & Insight;
  • Ensure that customer and patient insights as well as market issues are well understood and processed into the local and Glocal business plans
  • Demonstrate and implement a clear understanding of what value can mean to customers and patients given current national policy, guidance and the healthcare environment to inform brand plans.
  • Develop deep understanding of all potential Vaccines BU customers, and support the development and delivery of customer engagement strategies for all emerging customer groups

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Fluency in English language and local language
  • University degree required (business administration or scientific degree preferred)
  • Considerable experience within brand/commercial marketing
  • Demonstrated high performance and outstanding results within brand/commercial marketing.
  • Strong cross-functional working skills, and experience leading matrix complex working situations
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry and UK healthcare environment
  • Strong strategic skills including creativity and effectiveness in identifying major strategic
  • Knowledge of local regulatory policies
  • Willingness to travel as required
  • Experience interacting with external customers & stakeholders and acting upon customer insights\xe2\x80\x8b\xe2\x80\x8b

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

This role will need to build and have strong relationship with all relevant internal stakeholders in country (e.g. Vaccines commercial team, CSE team, medical, H&V, finance, legal, Quality, HR, Regulatory, communications & CA) and above country (e.g. New Glocal marketing teams, Digital team and Global Health and Value) along with external facing commitment as part of a Country Brand Lead responsibilities.
