Job Summary:

Due to continued growth, DAW Signs & Fit-Outs is seeking a reliable and hard-working Van Driver/Labourer to join our dynamic team. This hands-on role involves supporting site installations, transporting materials and tools, and assisting skilled tradespeople across signage and joinery projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive company van to and from project sites across the UK, transporting materials, tools, and finished goods. Load and unload deliveries safely and efficiently, ensuring items are secure and well-organised. Assist with workshop labouring duties, including lifting, moving materials, and basic installation support. Maintain cleanliness, tidiness, and organisation of the company van, workshop, and yard areas. Perform general cleaning and upkeep of the factory floor, office spaces, communal areas, and external yard. Carry out basic maintenance and handyman tasks as needed to support smooth daily operations. Support signage and joinery teams with general tasks in the workshop when required. Follow all health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all staff.

Requirements:

Full, clean UK driving licence (Category B). Previous experience in a labouring or driver role (preferred but not essential). Physically fit with the ability to lift and move heavy materials. A practical, hands-on approach with a strong work ethic. Willingness to travel and occasionally work flexible hours to meet site schedules. Overnight travel will be required occasionally. A team player with a positive, can-do attitude.

Office hours are Monday - Friday 08:00 - 16:30, however this will vary depending on delivery schedule.

Salary negotiable depending on experience

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.50-14.00 per hour
